spinal2.jpgIs non-surgical spinal decompression right for you?

Non-surgical spinal decompression could help if you suffer from the following:

  • Bulging discs
  • Herniated discs
  • Ruptured and protruding discs of the lumbar spine
  • Degenerated discs
  • Joint facet syndrome
  • Sciatica
  • Stenosis

What is non-surgical spinal decompression?

Non-surgical spinal decompression relieves pressure that builds up on the discs and nerves by creating negative pressure within the disc. This process, known as negative intra-discal pressure, draws the bulging and herniated disc material back into the disc space and relieve pressure.

As the ligaments that hold disc material in place become stretched or torn due to bulging and herniation, decompression strengthens the ligament bands that hold the disc material in place to heal & prevent future recurrence.

What conditions are not treatable?

Osteomalacia (severe osteporosis), myelitis, anklyosing spondylitis, fractures, and unstable spondylolisthesis with pars defects, post surgical conditions where metal implants (rods, cages and screws) have been used, cancer or tumors.

How long does the procedure take and when will you see improvements in your condition?

Each session requires 45 minutes on average. The average length of time a person is under therapy ranges from 4-6 weeks. We have committed to undergo expert training in the delivery of decompression and dedicate a large portion of our practice to the relief of severe and chronic low back pain. Patients come to us to return to a normal pain free life.
